Norah Jones Jazzes Up Dodge Theatre April 25

Jazz chanteuse Norah Jones recently released her latest album “The Fall,” and is fueling the tour bus to head out on a 36-city US concert tour this summer. Jones will be stopping in Atlanta on Sunday, April 25 at 7:30pm at the Dodge Theatre. Sarah Jaffee is due to open the show. Norah Jones’ latest effort “The Fall” seems to abandon her jazz-pop persona and infuses more rock sensibilities into her sound.

Tickets go onsale to the general public via LiveNation on Friday, March 12 at 10am. There will be an Internet presale held on Wednesday, March 10 at 10am for those looking to score advanced seats. Sugarland Comes to Cricket Wireless Amphitheatre May 2

Country music superstars Sugarland is busy tackling mainly US cities for the summer leg of their “Incredible Machine Tour” which was launched on April 23. They will be opening up the May leg of the said tour with a show in Bakersfield, CA on May 1. After which they will be heading to Phoenix for a one-nighter before heading to Idaho on the 6th.

The duo will be performing in Phoenix’s Cricket Wireless Amphitheatre on May 2, Sunday at 7:30 PM, together with Julianne Hough and Vonda Shepard as special guests.

Tickets for the event will be available to the public on March 13, Saturday at 10 AM through Live Nation. A presale event will be held by Sugarland’s fan club on March 9, Tuesday at 10 AM, both for the concert tickets and VIP packages.

Tickets are priced at $30.50 for general admission and $49.75 to $30.50 for the reserved seating areas.

Before embarking on the extensive spring-summer “Incredible Machine Tour” this year, Sugarland was busy recording new material for their forthcoming studio album which they are planning to release this summer. No official words yet as to the title of the said album or its exact release date.

Tom Petty to Break Hearts at US Airways Center May 18

Tom Petty is readying his first studio album in 10 years. The album entitled “Mojo” doesn’t have a release date, but that hasn’t stopping Petty from hitting the road to support his coming work. Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers have outlined a 36-city tour that will make its way to Phoenix’s US Airways Center on Tuesday, May 18 at 7:30pm. Tickets for the St Pete Forum show go onsale to the general public via Ticketmaster on Monday, March 8 at 10am. Fan club members will have a shot at presale tickets on Thursday, March 4 at 10am as well as Citi cardholders and Live Nation/venue members who will get access on Friday, March 5 at 10am. Tickets top out at $125 for floor and select lower level seating and the nosebleeds will set you back $49.50.

Paul McCartney Set Up Shop at Jobing.com Arena March 28

I guess Sir Paul McCartney is amped up about the tour he finished last year because he’s ready to rock the arenas again in 2010. McCartney is currently slated for four cities stateside before jumping across the pond to play a handful of UK dates. He will be coming to Glendale to play Jobing.com Arena on Sunday, March 28 at 7:30pm. For other dates Paul will hit on his upcoming tour, checkout Paul McCartney Tour. In recent interviews, he’s said the set lists will draw across his catalog of music from the Beatles to Wings as well as a strong helping from his solo career.

Tickets go onsale via Ticketmaster on Monday, March 1 at 10am. Fan Club and Hot Seat Packages will get a jump on things with tickets being made available on Tuesday, Februrary 23 at 10am. Another nondescript presale will be taking place on Sunday, February 28 at 10am. Ticket prices range from $250 to $135 for the floor and lower level seats and the upper level of the arena can expect tickets to run from $50 to $75 a ticket.

The Eagles Jet into US Airways Center April 21

The Eagles continue to tour on their 2007 album “Long Road Out of Eden,” and have announced a handful of dates to whet their fans appetite. The iconic band will be making their way to Phoenix’s US Airways Arena on Wednesday, April 21 at 8pm. There are three presales opportunities including an American Express presale on Monday, February 1 at 10am, a Downtown Live presale on Sunday, February 7 at 10am as well as a Live Nation presale on Sunday, February 7 at 10am. Daughtry Rocks the Jobing.com Arena on April 28

American Idol rocker Chris Daughtry will be bringing his band to Glendale to play the Jobing.com Arena on Wednesday, April 28 at 7:30 pm. The stop is a part of 50-city national tour in support of their latest release “Leave This Town.” Lifehouse and Cavo will serve as opening supporting acts.

Tickets will go onsale through Ticketmaster to the general public on Saturday, January 30 at 10am. There will be two presales on Tuesday, January 29 at 10am for members of the Daughtry Fan Club as well as an AEG\Venue\Ticketmaster presale Friday, January 29 at 10 am. James Taylor & Carole King at Jobing.com Arena May 19

The “Troubadour Reunion”, featuring two of music’s greatest performers and artists – James Taylor and Carole King – will bring love all across America and in Toronto in a tour that follows up their sold-out six night performance at the Troubadour nightclub 50th anniversary celebration in West Hollywood in 2007.

The said tour will be launched in Portland, OR on May 7 and will close with a two night performance in Lenox, MA on July 3 and 4, just in time for Independence Day. Apart from these dates, the duo will also stop by Phoenix in mid-May for a one-nighter.

See these two music icons as they bring warmth and love through their greatest hits as they grace the stage of the Jobing.com Arena in Phoenix, AZ on May 19, Wednesday at 7:30 PM.

Muse to Mesmerize US Airways Center on April 8

UK rockers Muse are about to dot the globe with concert dates, and they have their sights set on Phoenix’s US Airways Center on Friday, April 9 at 7:30pm. The band is currently touring in support of their most recent release “Resistance” that dropped last September and raced up to number 3 on the Billboard Album Charts. Michael Buble’s Crazy Love Comes to US Airways Center on April 8

Canadian crooner Michael Buble has a new album out entitled “Crazy Love” and he is hitting the road this spring and summer to support it. The Grammy Award winning artist will be bringing the band to Phoenix to play the US Airways Center on Thursday, April 8 at 8pm. Mark Knopfler, former Dire Straits frontman, will be coming to Phoenix’s Dodge Theatre on Sunday, April 18 at 7:30pm. Dubbed by Rolling Stone as one of the greatest guitarists of all time, Knopfler is touring on the release of his latest album “Get Lucky.” He will be hitting 23-cities on his upcoming 2010 tour which maps through April and into May.
